No respect for drivers. Fires you after you give a 2 week notice out of spite. Not a good company to work for. They don't pay well.

I really enjoy working for Midwest, everyone i ever talk to is always very polite, we are paid very fairly and competitively and they have many different types of work to choose from, Local, regional, dedicated lanes and OTR. ive done a bit of all of these, currently an OTR driver. I couldnt be happier with how ive been treated by this company.

Pros

Good extremely affordable health benefits. Trucks are well maintained, Fair and competitive wages. Everyone i ever have to talk to on the phone from dispatch to safety to hr to the repair shop is very polite and respectful.

Cons

Trucks are a bit older, no 401k.

Kasim is the best guy to talk to he talks to you with respect and any concerns you may have. Amir will talk down to you and make you feel worthless he has no respect for anyone and he's always right and you are always wrong, there is no reasoning with this man. He might have money but he lacks people skills respect is earned and respect goes both ways, when you treat your employees like they are disposable you'll always have a company with a revolving door
