They steel money from you, they never show the rate con, they charge you 10 cents a mile for maintenance but don’t maintain their trucks my truck broke down every week and they don’t pay for layovers at all they just don’t care at all about their drivers you are just a number, they send you loads that are already late but don’t tell you so when you get to shipper you end up burning your whole clock because they have to work you in, most off the loads are distribution companies where you’ll be waiting for hours to get loaded and they don’t pay you for detention one time I was delayed over 6 hours and they never paid me for detention, this is the most non caring company I ever drove for.

Pros

Girls are nice and polite at orientation.

Cons

No detention, no layover pay, get loads that are already late but don’t tell you, false advertising I talked to a lot of drivers and none of them said the made $2,500 after expenses and if you did you had to drive illegally. And finally when quit working there they are going to find a way to take most of your last paycheck.

Seems like good people overall, but their setup is built to make them money, not so much you. You’re just a owner-operator on paper, but you never see the rate confirmation. They call it company policy. Make no mistake, you’re getting skimmed on every load. The rates they text you are always low. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re keeping 300 - 500 in the back before they text you how much they got the rate for. You can make money, but you’ll have to run hard. Their system keeps you just slightly ahead of a 1099 company driver. Yes, you might hit $2,500 a week or more but good luck with that. You’ll probably have to push 4,000 miles or close to it to get there.

Pros

Truck is maintained except for physical damage. They’ll keep you running if that’s important to you. You’re paid on time. Fairly supportive team.

Cons

Hard to make decent money, you’ll work 10 times as hard to make anywhere close to fair money for your hard work. I’m of the opinion that they skim the rate on every load. You don’t get to see the rate confirmation. Their program is not designed for a true owner operator who knows the business. The dispatchers consistently take cheap freight, but this could be just the rate they tell you after taking a few hundreds off the top, since you never get to see the RC.

They have hired federal investigators in the past, unbeknownst to them, and robbed them blind. Their time is coming. Thank goodness that criminals have such low IQs. I hope this was helpful. Stay away from them, unless you want to lose your house and everything you have worked so hard for.

Pros

Great Penske and Ryder leased equipment.

Cons

They are the biggest skimmers in the country. It is my opinion that they steal from you in about 4 or five different ways. Plus the worst dispatchers ever. But at least they are kind. They get you loaded that are already late before you get them.
