Stay away from martin transportation systems known as MTS. That company is a joke! I run out of the bean station terminal in TN. They'll con u in saying they will put u on a steady dedicated run. I was supposed to run the dedicated Kansas city I ran it only once they said it paid 38 cent a mile got my pay check looked at it they only paid me 36 cent a mile. You can't fuel at any pilot it has to be a preferred one if not they'll take it out of ur check. It takes a month to get a pay check. The equipment is ragged out I drove a freight liner it was a covenant transport truck the horn & window cleaner would come on by its self they print u off mapquest directions yea you'll get lost then call dispatch they don't know nothing so there u are screwed killing drive time. That's why this company can't keep drivers they can't figure that out. You can't idle there trucks they don't have APU units in them so you'll freeze your ### off this winter oh yea they have *Cameras* in the trucks so if ur thinking about mts I'd run cause this company is a joke low ball cheap @sses wont pay their drivers enough! Need anymore info on this company just ask

Stay away from MTS drivers. Marshall , Coldwater , Byron Center posts for jobs everyday. Why? Extremely high turnover . Why? They treat their people poorly. Dispatch and even upper management talk to you unprofessionally , will threaten your job on a continuous basis and the hr and owner does nothing. Seems you start out ok but after they run you hard, change your schedules and routes on a regular basis but then lookout.... They cut your work and hours back and find ways to let you go or get you to quit. Much of their trucks are pieced together from fleet accidents, check out the back of their terminal in Byron center if you want to see them. Low pay and high expectations . I've seen good people come and go for the above reasons.

If it is Martin Transportation out of Michigan... Run away. They do not pay for the work done, have awful equipment and extremely rude dispatchers. On the plus side if you don't mind working way too much and no home time then the pay isn't so bad, except when you add up the pay with the hours you make like $13 an hour and are never home.
We have huge turn over here and even the dispatchers in Michigan are dropping like flies.

Still employed here. They still have all the same pay but I think they are starting some people off at. 36 for certain runs. They got me on a good lane for the past 6 months making $950 flat rate per week home everyday off weekends. If your interested I would just ask what lanes they offer and pick the one with the best payout. You may get lucky and do pretty Well for yourself. Local runs pay a flat rate which is more than mileage pay so keep that in mind. Good luck
That's before taxes. It's 540 miles round trip drop&hook. Takes 9 hours including your 30 min break at the shipper. Trucks drive 70 and all loads are under 20k lb. It's $190 A day 5 days a week. I think that's pretty #### good for home everyday.
