Lawrence is a great company to work for. If you do your job and follow instructions you will be successful here. Everyone is very friendly and easy to deal with. I have never asked for home time and been denied.

If you want to earn money and enjoy your company ,Lawrence is where you want to work. I've been with them as a O/O and company driver. The money is there , all you need to do is work for it. As for as equipment I was driving a new Freighter with automatic transmission. Not bad for company truck.

This place is a joke. Trucks and trailer are old and bull. The people are nice when you first start then after they start there same bs but the way orientation is needs to be changed. I’m only working here til the summer then moving on to someone better

They hire 23 year old kids that have never been a truck . I went from 134,000.00 year before to 118,000.00 after being assigned this kid I have caught him lying to me they will not let you change dispatchers. Then the more I think about most of thier dispatchers lie.

Please, all Owner Operator thinking about leasing on with Lawrence Transportation in Roanoke , VA . You might better keep looking for another company. I lease on with this company & my reason for leaven . 1st. Thing is they pay $1.03 on loaded or empty . 

2nd. Thing is fuel surcharge is .17 on loaded miles

3rd. I run 2700 then after fuel i bring home $1500. So i ask they said this was good for an owner operator after fuel. 

4th. They want you to run computer logs. Then they give you 400 to 500 miles loads. Then you burn your time up loading & unloading. So to get 2700 miles in 7 days if you lucky . Good luck if you go to work for this company .

Lawrence has and will always be a joke!! Every truck they have being company and O/O is junk!! Not only that, J.D. the safety guy is a joke.
