HMD Trucking Inc , I truly wish the Best to your new hires. I hope you treat them better then everyone that has left your company in the past 2 months. You company hires with high incentive mileage pay. It never pans out. Your dispatchers can barely speak English and have admitted they do not live in the United States. Therefore they DO Not understand the time it actually takes to get from point A to point B. Plus the drivers are discriminated if they feel their safety is in jeopardy due to inclimate weather. The drivers are not respected for putting their safety first. Get screwed on mileage, the company does not reimburse you for parking like they say they do I orientation, because nobody can tell you how to turn in your receipt to get reimbursed. We alone are owed 600 dollars for 6 months of parking fees. Never been paid out. This company does not stick to what they tell you. I wish the best to all the new drivers and hope you are treated with the respect that you deserve and the pay that HMD promised you. I know for a fact that they are relentless and find every excuse under the sun to not pay out. Oh, and you DO NOT get paid for empty loads like they told you in orientation. BEST WISHES TO ALL!!
Cons
They don't care about your safety or your inco.e

They will force you to do split sleeper to get around 14hr clock and make you run your 11 out and legally it's a gray zone don't drive for this company
They will not let you run recaps 99% live load/unload 99% brokage that brokers can and will change times on load without dispatch approval
Stay safe out there
Pros
Great pay if you like staying awake 20hrs and running your clock out
Cons
No dispatch on nights or weekends
Abusing the absolute out of the split sleeper birth provision to get around the 14-hour work day so you can start at 1:00 a.m. and continue working until 1:00 a.m. the next morning if need must if you are at a shipper or delivery that's taking all day they'll still expect you to run regardless if you sleep or not they don't care they will force you to go to New York they will force you to run your 70 out
