5F aka LoHi aka the dispisable Vorto where dreams go to die. If you enjoy not running hard this is the place for you, Vorto/5f/LoHi has mastered the art of owner operator starvation. If you enjoy watching non US citizens who are a danger behind the wheel get favored, this is the place for you. If you enjoy rock bottom rates and treated like a child who doesn’t own your own equipment, this is the place for you. If you enjoy ###### management who doesn’t give 2 #####, this is the place for you. If you enjoy an unintelligent “AI”dispatch system that will deadhead your tanks dry, your in luck cuz there is zero intelligence anywhere to be found in this outfit, this is the place for you! Bottom line is this company is out to destroy everything it touches, your equipment included. Rate cuts and forced dispatch is the name of the game, headed by threats from #### pour fleet managers. Over trucking is the business model. Its outfits like this that hire incompetent 3rd world drivers which continue to drive the price down on everything while the fat cats up top sit and stuff pockets. Don’t waste your time this company is rotted from the ground up. OTR was way better and comparable in rates, which is gross considering this was an oilfeild company.

I finally escaped the two faced managment system known as 5F LoHi Vorto. The managers in ND will promise you the world and then not follow through with workload. I left a few times after being starved out to go back to OTR and then would get a call from one of the 2 bosses in ND begging my return with the promise of big money. Never happened once and I will not be back. Just talked to some friends of mine that still work there. They said that right in the middle of the job they are on the rate was cut 5% with no warning. CO and WY just took, yet, another rate cut as well. Turn over rate at 5F is astonishing. They either starve you out or treat you so poorly that you leave. They act like they own your truck. Vorto does yearly DOT audits which take away work time and wastes home time. The ND managers answer to everything is over trucking. Why not? In there eyes they make the same money no matter what. Once they overtruck it and the work slims up, they will let everyone starve out til the herd thins itself out based on starvation. The app force dispatches and punishes you if you don't take what they give you. It will also drop you in pay for not obeying. We recieve power tripping text messages from the fleet manager and she is rude and narcissistic. The regional manager just let's her run the show. They take close to 10% for pulling their trailer plus $10 per day. Also a $2,000 deposit. I can make the same money OTR and not beat the #### out of my truck on the oilfield roads. The CEO and CFO are grossly greedy. Upper management in Denver is just as bad and treat you like they own your truck. All talk no action. This is a disgusting corporation that has destroyed the oilfield If you want to damn near go bankrupt then go to work for 5F LoHi Vorto. They will gladly help you out!

Pros

2 day pay but it will trap you and before you know it you can barley afford to leave.

5F aka LoHi aka VORTO! What a joke of an outfit, they will over promise and under deliver with every broken promise they gift wrap and hand to you like it’s a good deal which in the end it never is. Deadhead bounce your fuel tanks dry all day long with no extra cash kicked back to the owner ops when there’s loads near by to be dispatched. You can thank the uneducated super pilots and the AI system for that, which they speak so highly of. Every region is the same, go read the reviews online, the managers and all the higher ups could give 2 ##### less about their drivers which reflects in all the rate cuts and how they treat people. Quality control is a joke they will hire anyone who has zero experience trucking which is dangerous. Tech support sucks. This thing called frost laws in the north happens and they make it a priority to over hire trucks to cover their asses because they could care less to make the work evenly distributed in order not to starve people, this company is all about saving their asses instead of spreading the wealth. They have killed the oilfield rates, I’m going back OTR because the rates are the same and less run around. Company ran by inexperienced corporation who thinks they know it all. Hope your 3rd world crew will continue to haul for your 3rd world rates.

Not a single thing

cant go less than 1 star. owners have not clue what there doing and no experience trucking in the patch, they think its OTR. They prefer to hire immigrants before any US citizen. In North Dakota the manager is fnn clueless ( Mr. Rogers neighborhood) on how trucks operate and what is needed to maintain your equipment. The fleet manager ( Newman artifacts) has her own trucks and husband has a shop and the people that use it haul for 5F and they get paid by 5F because it is charged to their account at 5f( VORTO, LOHI LOGISTICS) The fleet managers office is covered in gifts from all the Africans, Mexicans and Jamaicans which she prioritizes before any American. They barely speak English and cant Frikken drive!!!!!!!! Certain trucks run all the time and never stop. It is forced dispatch because if you don't take loads you are penalized and dropped in pay. they do dynamic pricing and take more money from you. it is over trucked 98.9% of the time. have no clue how many trucks are needed per frac for the loads that each truck can do. Immigrants rent Penske trucks to be put here and pretend they are truckers with never owning a truck or company. Vorto is the main company!! 5f reputation is already messed up so they are going by LOHI Logistics LLC now, i bet they have many other names that they can go under by now. They are still cutting rates just to make up for all the lawsuits they have to deal with. They will bankrupt you very fast and just don't care. 90% of the trucks are immigrants that have no business in a truck, soon one of these drivers will kill someone in North Dakota, they have in other regions!! most of them are not federal dot legal to be on the road and the North Dakota Management lets them get away with it. Since they have came to North Dakota the have destroyed the rates and the oilfield culture, typical corporation. the app is only 50% efficient. the insurance requirement is a joke because they have no clue. there is going to be a class action lawsuit for discrimination for being white and a American citizen, all who have left because of the BS need to get together and unite against this.

This company will never change, CEO’s and managers could care less about the people who make their money, GREADY BROKER COMPANY THAT CONTINUES TO DROP RATES WHILE STUFFING POCKETS. 5F has ruined the 5F name and rebranded as LoHi and will likely ruin that name too. Never seen a raise only rate cuts and their crappy 3rd world country drivers will continue to haul for cheap while they make large profits because they don’t know better. Its outfits like this that have ruined the trucking industry. High turnover rates, they can’t keep good hands. Crappy elementary style point system headed by a very unintelligent AI dispatch system that has zero logistics. You will deadhead and bounce your ### off for free all day while there are practical available loads near you. System delegates loads unfair. Tech support sucks. And the ap is a royal pain in the ### with ongoing issues that will never be fixed. CEO’s have made many broken promises that continue to go unseen. Every region continues to deal with the same lame issues that will never be resolved, which reflect on all the negative reviews on websites from owner ops and also VORTO employees. This company will continue to just use and abuse you while they bleed you dry. This is not a friendly owner operator company, too much control and no motivation to make good changes to benefit anyone. Not to mention the headache of dealing with continuous changes to insurance due to law suits I’m sure because they half ### everything. O ya and enjoy getting audits every year, pretty spot on for a power tripping broker company.
