Former Employee

Be cautious when Dupre offers to buy your company. They will tell you we're a family, we're here to learn what you do and your jobs are safe, but that's all crap. What they're buying are your clients. The employees are fodder and will be laid off a few months after the transaction. Take Interstate Transport for example. Great clients like Nestle, Sysco and PFG. Not that the management was great before the sale, but watching them put on a show that they were so sorry for the layoffs was pathetic. One owner showing his best Napoleon complex by yelling at the employees being let go one last time about a no complete clause before ushering them out the door. The other owner crying in the corner like a cuck watching her company get screwed and taken from her. And speaking of the no compete clause, they say there isn't one then force you to sign a document listing over 50 companies you can't work for. If it looks like a no compete and smells like a no compete...you know what I'm getting at. I've moved on but needed to get this off my chest. You've been warned.
