Their MC number is ruined and they don’t care to fix it by being more responsible or being compliant with DOT regulations. No brokers will work with Cloud, doesn’t matter to them because they get paid first and all of your deductions will as well. If you have an issue that requires immediate attention a foreign contractor or a bot can only escalate the matter to the right team. They only care to bill you working with them will not simply being an owner operator life in general will only become more complex. Do not lease on here.

Pros

User interface of their app

Cons

Terrible overall company

IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND BUSINESS THEN YOU WILL HATE THIS COMPANY! 1. You control you own schedule 2. If you don’t know how to dispatch then this is not for you 3 . You can negotiate the rate you cannot negotiate loads 5- 20 days out that’s just business and the industry not the company. 4. They do not micromanage you are grown and running a business you are an adult if you don’t understand what you are doing that’s a personal problem not the company fault Any other company you have to wait 2 weeks or at least a week to get paid. Of course they will charge you for this. It’s business. Even with your own authority you will have factoring. This is not a baby sitting company they are here to help but not hold your hand. There are companies that will do that such as Rudolph, MAG, you have to do research. 5 if you want to go home go home and if you don’t live in a good market AGAIN that’s a personal problem not there fault. Move! You can literally make 6-7k gross a week. 6. Get a business advisor to teach you. This is not easy and it take a long time to understand this business you not about to get a truck and have it easy. This is business 7. If your credit is not good park that truck turn it in and go get a regular job the last thing you need to do is run a business not be educated and be financially unstable. 8. Save save save x 1,000,000,000,000,000 You can’t save enough we see companies with millions go bankrupt what makes you think you can do better than them? Rhetorical question. Your money is not yours it belong to your business AGAIN YOUR MONEY IS NOT YOURS IT BELONG TO YOUR BUSINESS. One more time!!!! YOUR MONEY IS NOT YOURS IT BELONG TO YOUR BUSINESS. I won’t go into details I’m here to write a comment not a book. But that’s the main point. Overall I’ve been here two weeks you the fuel thing is frustrating but I have a credit card and I’m still learning the system BUT I don’t cash out early I don’t use there card At all so I build up my account meaning I DONT TOUCH THE BUSINESS MONEY. Anything that takes money away from me I stay away from it. For example, early cash out. I’ll rather wait 2-3 days to get paid than a week. I don’t people realize how good this is. Again that brings me to a point I. Made already. If you are financially unstable then this isn’t for you. STOP WHAT YOU DOING TURN TRUCK IN GET STABLE THEN COME BACK. 9 have a plan take notes build relationships with broker learn the system.

Pros

Independence, relationship building, no micro management, early payout

Cons

Hard to give a con as I haven’t been here long. 1Orientation should be longer and should an option to help truckers understand this. Unfortunately I understand this cost money and time. Orientation was quick, too quick. Good for a veteran very bad for someone new 2. We are working off the market so many brokers do not want to work with CLOUD. Screw it who cares move on. IMO.

Wish I would’ve read reviews first. It’s true what most are saying. I started with Cloud in November and as of right now my bank account is in the negative. I run hard and I am currently up at 2:30 am trying to figure out why I am not making money in this thing. I leased my truck on with SFI through cloud and the weekly payments are extremely high, but on the other end of that Cloud has so many fees that I’m not even breaking even. They charge you %2.04 to cash out to your bank account immediately after jobs (not even sure why this is so high). The beginning of deduction period starts on Monday and honestly by the time you’ve paid all deductions (usually Friday or Saturday) it’s time to start over again. Not sure what it’s like if you own your own truck but speaking for myself, I’m not making any money. Between truck note, their fees, and fuel, you’ll be doing good to make $100.00 bucks a week. The money simply isn’t there. Now they have a fuel card and you can no longer get “pick up pay.” Everyone is from overseas and you can hardly get anyone on the phone. I’ve resorted to just trying to work most issues out with the broker. I am planning my escape now but this company sure has left a bitter taste in my mouth. If you join, be prepared, you’ve been forewarned.

Pros

Independent, no micro-managing, trucks aren’t governed.

Cons

Everything else

What everyone says is true. This company is going to tank!!! They usually take half your your pay on every load in the beginning of the week. I'm struggling to make my truck payment and it's only $1,800 a month. I've got denied four different loads today from brokers saying that MC score sucks. This company sucks! Everybody's in like the Philippines and it's all fake promises. I'm leaving soon and I hope I get some of my escrow back. I don't even know why they're taking escrow out from me. It's a 2.04% to take my money out. I lost like a $1,200 load because the broker doesn't use cloud trucks. Cloud trucks should pay the owner operators the money they lost because of their MC is screwed up. It's not the owner operators fault it's cloud trucks fault.
