Do not work for this company.
I've been driving since 1977, and I've worked for many of companies.
You do not want to work for this one. Unless you want to be disrespected, I don't care what they're 5 star drivers say. There is just companies that you do not work for as a driver. There are good ones and there are bad ones, and there is no perfect one. But this is one of the ones that you just don't get in here. Their Fleet manager disrespectful, their recruiter Karen will throw you under the bus. They think they are too good for you. I would send you to werner, before I would send you here and God knows we all think. About warner

From the very start I should have run the other way instead of even attempting to be a part of this company.... Not only is orientation pay only $150.00 total but they make you wait to get paid that for 90 days ... On top of that you have to sign a paper before your able to get going saying that if you terminate before those 90 days are up then all expenses are on you. Ie plane ticket and hotel for orientation etc... Owner also owns the company that provides the Volvo trucks they run... And the one and only paycheck I was expecting was completely taken by the expense of my orientation and travel. Not to mention they have no problem making a person wait three days for a supposed load just to bring them in and terminate them two days before Christmas and then after offering to give time to figure out a way home for themselves and child and all their gear they push you out and drop you off six hours before departure without so much as a dime or time to actually get what you need off the truck. Had been told there was a Christmas gift card for me, which was desperately needed and then nothing... It was only for current employees... The logs are definitely not to code... Considering I went to sleeper and I know how much time progressed... Yet was missing a hour... Seems to be the normal practice to have drivers use a spare elog and that's what they want you to do.... Apparently that's the "company minded" requirements. Also at the end of orientation.... We got the keys to our trucks.... They simply dropped a bunch of them on the table one for each of us... Since out of all the 200 trucks they are all keyed the exact same
Pros
Literally nothing I can even try to think of
Cons
Absolutely everything. Orientation pay and the delay. Wanting you to run second logs. Truck appeared nice but inside was disgusting, Penny pinching company who had no problem with sending a woman and her kid out the door without all their stuff, no money for food or anything just two days before Christmas. And they treat you like a criminal. Dispatch doesn't listen and assumes whatever they want and your in the wrong no matter what proof you have

I don't know how some of these drivers would give this company high ratings they at best are lousy unless you are a ### kisser then you can
get almost anything you want. I was there a long time ago and I'm glad
I'm gone There dispatchers use very foul language at there drivers and
there dispatchers change your logs to benefit them. The US Dot needs to audit them on a regular basis also to include there hiring practices they have a high turn over of drivers and office personal In other words
they suck!
Cons
Foul language directed at drivers and falsification of drivers logs and their
safety dept trashes your DAC File

Pros

I am pleased with working for a great bunch of people and have not had a bad experience and finally found a good place that cares for you as part of a family. Stay positive and positive outcome will win as a professional driver. We are all not perfect but must strive to be safe and successful and communicate when hardships arise and lean on the support of our peers. As a 17 year veteran I say love one another as God loves us we are all his children.
