All the miles you can handle if you want them. A lot of liquid loads are east of I-29. Most trailers are preloaded and driver picks up loaded trailer at Blair yard. I've been as far south as Laporte, Texas and as far north as Minneapolis. Denver to the west and Niagara Falls to the east. Mostly 2022 and newer Pete 579s with auto-shift 12 speed. Some Canada loads if you have a passport. Hazmat required and non-local driver pay is % of linehaul. Since it's food/feed grade, there are no real slow times at this terminal.

Pros

No driver facing camera(yet). Pay is pretty good compared to some. Small terminal means everyone in the office will know your name. All the miles you can handle. Hourly pay for breakdown/layover/detention over 2 hours.

Cons

Samsara forward facing smart "safety" camera. Governed at 65 mph. Paccar engines are gutless. No in-house shop for trucks or trailers.

I kept hearing "we'll get you a truck" and waited months for them to deal with all their equipment that was constantly going in and out of the shop, kept hearing "you got paid for that" but wasn't paid until after I left, everything leaked somewhere, got called in early for loads that got cancelled and had to wait for dispatch to get in.

Pros

Decent home time, dispatch was fairly laid back after I could get out of the yard

Cons

Equipment was rarely out of the shop for long, owed money for things they said they paid me for, called in early for loads that had been cancelled, everything leaked somewhere or wouldn't connect like it was supposed to

Carry transit

Carry Transit is a Food grade tanker company, they are now owned by superior carriers...

I load around alot of the Carry drivers and they all seem to be happy with their jobs, they have a different pay scale and hiring req's than superior does...

seems like they run the same equipment as Superior does, Intl's and volvo's...
