I love this place, everyone here treats everyone equally with respect, we’re not perfect but it’s that we all do the best we can, some days are easier than others as with any job, I’m a driver and when I or any driver needs home time they really do everything to make sure you get home on time. On the road breakdowns aren’t fun, there’s just something’s nobody can control, these are mechanical machines so they will break down but it’s rare, just make sure you have provisions just incase, at our L.A. Dock we have a cooler for cross docking loads going all over to different parts of the state and across the country, I learned that 90% of success is showing up, the other 10% is traffic… at BRT they have picnics and special events for everyone to enjoy, just show up on time isn’t asking a lot to your pickups and delivery, call in if you need more time because of unforeseen circumstances like unexpected traffic or a delay due weather or accidents etc. the front office will work with you, again nothing is perfect but I’m comfortable here, I been working here for about 7-1/2 years, and I’d rather give up driving than having to go work for someone else, it’s a small family run company that you’re not a number to them but a actual human being with a name. We only run the west coast states and Arizona only, I only recommend BRT if you just show up on time and work, pay is accurate and direct deposit, health insurance and a 401K plan for those that are interested, driver appreciation days with a bag of goodies, and food available at the L.A. dock or in Hollister if you’re close by, truck wash’s are allowed 2 per month so use them wisely, wash out bay available at the Hollister yard, also blue beacons for wash out and truck wash.

Pros

Home time when you need to be home

Cons

A rare breakdown, and that L.A. or Bay Area traffic.
