From The Cradle To The Grave

From the time you're born
To the time you die,

There's a trucker right by your side.
When the doctor laid you in your mother's arms,

There was a trucker coming from a farm.
Bringing you milk and vegetables,

And meat to make you big and strong.
When your mother took you to school for the very first time,

A trucker was delivering things so you could learn to rhyme.
From your ABC's to your 123's

A trucker made sure you had all you need.
When you turned 16 and wanted to drive,

A trucker was in Detroit loading your ride.
From a Ford to a Chevy to a Dodge or a Jimmy,

A trucker made sure your selection was plenty.
When you turned 25 and wanted a home made of wood

A trucker was in the field making sure you could.
From the lumber you use to the bricks you lay,

A trucker was there every step of the way.
On the day they lay you down to rest,

A trucker sees that you have the best.
From the coffin you use for your final resting place,

To the hearse that carries you to your grave,
A trucker is there every step of the way.

So in your daily travels through day-to-day life,
Be thankful you have all you want and you thrive.

Just remember one thing in all you do.
A trucker was there to bring it to you.
